Network

JOY has developed a network with eye care services in Nepal. In collaboration with one of JOYs major partners 'Tilganga Eye Center' it has been providing cataract surgeries and other eye care services. Tilganga Eye Center is the first institution in Nepal which is awarded as fulfilling International Standards of ISO 90002 / EN46002 for its Intra-ocular lens. It is the only Intra-ocular Lens laboratory in the region. In cooperation with organisations such as Buddhist Education and Social Development Centre and the Steven R. Novak Foundation as well as others, eye camps and surgery sponsorships were supported.

JOY is glad to have a very strong Network that has helped in the past to realize many projects. In cooperation with NAFA JOY has started a program called Further Education and Training for Youth. It is initiated for young people coming from difficult social backgrounds. With Jeevan Kalayan Kendra and Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Handicapped (AWIH) differently abled children were supported in getting a better education. At Prisoners Assistance Nepal (PA Nepal) children are supported which face disadvantages and discrimination because of their parents in Jail.
With all Network partners JOY was able to achieve many goals and reach many people.
