Achievement

Since 1996- 4,176  people got their sight restored and 27,154 people have received various eye-care treatments through the support of JOY and partners. JOY has been supported eye camps fully as well as partially by donating food or medicines. The remuneration of specialist and support services is donated voluntarily during these camps. Over the last years JOY was able to support various organizations working with disadvantaged and disabled children and youth. Through educational and health awareness programs in many parts of Nepal JOY has reached an uncountable number of people coming from different parts of the Nepalese society. JOY understands equality and equal participation of everybody, regardless their heritage, gender or age as a basic human right.
